About
unapologetially You

What does Unapologetically You mean? Unapologetically You symbolizes a safe space where you give yourself permission to be who you are--to explore, feel, understand, heal and accept yourself—unapologetically. To be yourself in a world that constantly presents challenges, is not easy. At Unapologetically You, the goal is to support you through those not so easy moments, where you learn to understand yourself, your thoughts and behaviors, as well as learn the skills to manage those moments through "self-care/homework" assignments. Tell yourself you are worth it. This investment in your mental health is worth it. You wouldn't be here reading this if you didn't have the strength and willpower to overcome your challenges.

Let's talk: Have you ever felt like you’ve loss control of your thoughts and emotions? What about those days when you procrastinate, second guess life decisions, lack motivation, or simply do not want to get out of bed? I’m here to tell you that it’s okay—it’s okay to not be okay.

Everyday is an opportunity to be Unapologetically You. Take your first step and request a consultation call with me.

My Approach

My approach to therapy is client-centered, meaning I take time to build a trusting professional relationship through utilizing laughter, genuineness and a "what happened to you" perspective. My approach consists of being warm and empathetic, yet, just the right dosage of directness. I pride myself in identifying themes, patterns of behavior or inconsistencies in your statements, as you discuss your concern. At the end of the session, you will be given a "self-care assignment" to work on the skills learned during the session. In my approach I draw from a number of evidenced-based orientations, and trauma-informed practices to tailor it to your needs. I work with you closely in order to achieve measurable results that will allow you to strive forward with a new perspective and understanding of yourself. Please browse my services and get in touch with me if I am the best fit for you!

A way forward

“You should never view your challenges as a disadvantage. Instead, it's important for you to understand that your experience facing and overcoming adversity is actually one of your biggest advantages,”
